The organizing team behind the UMP Festival has entered into a strategic partnership with Mibawa TV/Studios, one of Malawi’s leading broadcasting and entertainment companies.
This collaboration is set to elevate the festival experience for fans, both in attendance and at home.
For those unable to make it to the festival, the partnership includes exclusive broadcasting rights, meaning the event will be broadcast live across Mibawa’s platforms.
Fans can enjoy the festival from the comfort of their homes, ensuring no one misses out on the excitement.
Mibawa’s Super DT Thom announced the agreement, emphasizing the company’s commitment to enhancing the festival’s production.
“Mibawa will provide a state-of-the-art sound system to improve the overall audio experience, making performances more enjoyable and professional,” he said.
“The MoU between Mibawa TV and the UMP Festival & UMP Music Awards aims to enhance the festival’s visibility while also providing a high-quality sound system,” Thom added.
Mibawa TV’s General Manager, Tamandani Nkhwimba, and UMP Festival Manager, Mphatso Junior C, signed the memorandum of understanding (MoU), expressing optimism about the collaboration.
They highlighted that the partnership could result in significant benefits, including expanding audience reach through Mibawa TV’s exclusive broadcasting rights.
