Malawi’s favorite singjay, Maskal, has announced that he will drop the official soundtrack for the UMP Festival happening in October.

The soundtrack will be released as an LP and will include other local and international artists as well. 

Posting on his official Facebook account, Maskal hinted at more good music coming from him this year.

“Looking forward to this project (the 2024 UMP Festival Evolution LP). I will feature in a couple of songs,” he said.

The event organizing company, Chitoliro Productions, confirmed the development on their Facebook page. Additionally, the UMP Festival page put out a call for artists to join the singjay.

“Are you an emerging or established music artist or producer? From Malawi or another African country? Do you want to feature in a continental musical project? Reach out to [email protected]. Several artists are already on board!” the post reads.
