Amapiano star Zeze Kingston has launched a new record label, “Money Making Music,” aimed at promoting local musical talent.
The label was officially unveiled last night, introducing its first roster of artists, including Malimba Music, NaeRay, and Envee.
In addition, several key appointments were announced: James Makunje as International Brand Manager, Dorothy Shonga as Marketing, Public Relations, and Events Manager, Leumas as Producer and Personal Assistant, Andrew ‘Drew’ as DJ, Nash Raymond as Road Manager, Ston Media as Content Director, PK as Director of Photography, Mathew Kamaliza as HR Manager, Half Past as Creative Director, and Savie Phiri as Brand Manager.
Zeze expressed enthusiasm about the label’s potential to make a significant impact on the music industry.
“There is a lot of potential in the industry that needs nurturing, and with this brand, we want to create opportunities for more local talent,” he stated.
During the event, he reiterated that he will not participate in any local music awards but will focus solely on international awards, as previously mentioned.
Finally, Zeze announced that “Money Making Music” will soon organize and host its own music awards, promising to be an exciting new venture in the industry.
