After winning three international awards this year, ‘African Butter’ is setting his sights on another prestigious accolade, this time in the United States.

The artist has been nominated for Best New Act at the African Entertainment Awards USA, as he recently revealed.

“We’ve been nominated for ‘Best New Act’ at the African Entertainment Awards in the USA, marking our first entry on this prestigious international platform,” Onesimus posted.

He will be competing against nine other artists from across the continent, including fellow Malawian artist Eli Njuchi, who has also been nominated in the same category.
