Musician Rashley, known for hit singles like “Ndizasangalala,” “Ndakupasa,” and “Kumayamika,” has opened up about moments of doubt in his career, revealing that there are times when he contemplates stepping away from music. However, the unwavering support from his fans keeps him going.
This revelation comes after a stellar performance at Stich Fray’s Mtendere album preview night at Blues Bar. Reflecting on the experience, Rashley later shared his thoughts on retirement in a heartfelt post:
“I won’t lie, there are times when I feel like the musical journey is coming to an end. BUT THEN, I experience days like yesterday. The Mtendere album review was ABSOLUTE MAGIC! Your love and support left me SPEECHLESS.” He said.
Rashley’s last notable solo projects were recorded in 2023, which has fueled speculation that the artist might be nearing retirement. However, this year, he has been featured in several collaborations, including tracks with Jay Jay Cee and Stich Fray.
Expressing his gratitude to his fans, Rashley also teased an upcoming project set to be released this month:
“To my loyal fans, I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. Your energy and encouragement fuel my passion for music. As a token of appreciation, I’m excited to announce…a brand-new track dropping THIS MONTH.” He announced.
